Left Coast Kitchen
Based in the Scottish highlands, you may have seen Left Coast Kitchen around the Black Isle Markets, or at private events. The buzz around the food is growing, and creator Ella Clarke is bringing much-needed fresh air to the culinary offerings of the area. Plant-based food is for everyone; no meat or dairy, and most dishes are gluten free too, but there is absolutely no compromise on taste. Why divide people up into what they can and can’t eat when everyone can enjoy Left Coast Kitchen’s amazing selection; from roasted red beet hummus to black bean, sweet potato and quinoa chili. Hearty, healthy and close-your-eyes tasty, it’s the perfect complement to the richness of the Karawane sound.
Madre launches in early Spring 2019, and is a beautiful food truck offering plant-based mexican street food. Rich, smoky flavours and fresh corn tortillas come from the family recipes of Canadian-Mexican chef Ella Clarke. Watch this space for more information as this is going to be big!
